The construction of buildings has a profound impact on our natural environment, economy, health and productivity. The construction industry and in particular, SOLEID Building Systems Ltd. are committed to conserving resources and to reducing the environmental impact of buildings. Few years ago, "SOLEID R & D" has introduced during the mixing and injection phase of panels, a Nano Admixture in the panel core to improve bond strength, curing time, and reduce CO2 emissions.
The two-new facing MgO Board Products used for SOLEID panels, have very low carbon footprint and it can be recycled or re-purposed. It contributes to clean landfills since it is classified as a mineral and when ground to powder becomes a valuable soil amender.
Since several "green standards" have been introduced to quantify and rate the environmental performance and energy efficiency of new buildings. One of the "green" rating systems is the LEED® Green Building Certification Program, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
